The scheduled meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was conducted on the twenty-fifth of July, this year. The meeting was led by HOA President Jones, with members present of homeowners in presence.
Upon the call to order, the record from the previous meeting were reviewed and passed with some amendments.
- Ms. Jones, gave a concise financial update outlining the current status of the homeowner association's funds.
- Multiple homeowners raised issues regarding recent developments in the neighborhood, such as the proposed community garden construction and streetlight regulations.
- President Smith addressed the homeowner's questions, providing clarifications about the initiatives.
Following the discussion, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for November, on the same day next month.

Proposed Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants
The Homeowners Association is presently reviewing several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed changes are designed to enhance the value of life for all residents while addressing ongoing concerns and promoting a thriving community.
- Within the proposed amendments are standards related to yard maintenance, noise ordinances, and vehicle placement.
- The HOA encourages all residents to peruse the proposed amendments carefully and forward their comments by September 1st.
- A public forum will be arranged on August 3rd to discuss the proposed amendments in greater detail.
Additional information regarding the proposed amendments can be obtained on the HOA's digital portal. Residents are highly recommended to participate in this important process.
Sherwood Lakes Garden Initiative
Our dedicated community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more beautiful place to live. The Beautification Project aims to transform the visual appeal of our community by planting trees, cleaning up public areas, and promoting a sense of pride.
We're consistently working on various projects, including the restoration of our lakefront area. We invite you to contribute in making Sherwood Lakes a truly desirable place to call home.

Sherwood Lakes HOA Board Election Updates
Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is happening soon. This year, we encourage all homeowners to participate in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.
The election will be held on Wednesday, October 25th, with voting taking place from noon to 8:00 PM at the HOA Office.
A list of eligible candidates and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and posted throughout the community by October 15th. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please send an email to the HOA. We look forward to a successful and transparent election!
